Today I want to talk about my top 3 highlighters! I won't lie to you, I prefer the high end ones. I prefer the quality, the finish... all of it! I do still like drugstore products, but if you're wanting a post on cheap highlighters this is not the one for you. 

I quit sugar!

Don’t worry, I didn’t ACTUALLY quit sugar, but I’m slowly being convinced! This week I didn’t want to do a recipe because I’m just NOT in the mood. In stead, I wanted to introduce you to my new recipe book: I quit sugar: Simplicious! (simple and delicious). It’s by Sarah Wilson and contains 306 sugar-free so-nutritious-it-hurts recipes! Now, most of the time I seem to buy recipe books and not actually USE them, but throughout March I'm determined to use this book!

This week has been half term which you think would be nice and relaxing but actually I found it really stressful. I'm in a journal circle with colleagues at work and we've all swapped! I told you I'd give you an update once this happened so I wanted to post some photos of it! I've worked on this book now for 2 weeks but I've been so busy at work that finding time to do this has been hard but I really love it. One thing we decided to do was to start one page but not complete it and leave it for the other person, which you can see below as I have a page in progress which the previous artist started.

Recently I feel like I've been ordering lots of amazing coffee table books that I thought I needed to share them! I absolutely love having a couple of creative books out and on the bookshelves in my living room. I think they're a great conversation starter and just beautiful to look at. They're not all based on art but a lot include beautiful photography and are really creative, so here we go!

For this what I love Wednesday sunday post I wanted to talk about my all time favourite make up brand...can you guess it? yep, the title probably helped, Charlotte Tilbury. Even if you DIDNT' read the title I feel like I actually mention Charlotte Tilbury make up in maybe EVERY post on my blog and this is why...
a) Charlotte Tilbury is a redhead make up artist so the colours she creates are perfect for my colouring
b) Her make up is really high quality and is totally worth the price in my personal opinion
c) The packaging... okay it may sound sad but IT'S GORGEOUS!
