Hi Friends :)
I'm trying to think of sweet, cheap, alternatives to couples who go crazy and spend loads of money on valentines day. My boyfriend and I don't celebrate Valentines day, but I like to bake for him all the time. This week end I'm making a banana loaf and I thought it could be a really nice gift for your partner this valentines day!

Around this time of the month everyone's thinking the same thing 'I've already failed my new years resolution'. But I want to keep on top of mine and monitor them!
So let's go through them...

When I reflected on my trip to Singapore in 2015 I wanted to start planning my travels for 2016! Traveling always seems to be the highlight of my year so I'm ready to jump into new adventures this year and I've picked 5 places!

For art this week I want to talk to you about a really exciting project my colleagues and I are embarking on. We all say we 'don't have enough time' for our own art work, as we're so busy with work. This isn't true. You ALWAYS have time for things like that, it's whether you MAKE time for it.
This week end I have one of my best friends staying who lives in Copenhagen so I'm super excited :) but I still wanted to write a quick post...
I thought I'd go for a bit of an informal post and talk about 5 things you don't know about me!

When I moved into my own place in August 2014 I knew I wanted to have a space to do my make up. When I was at my parents house I used one desk for homework and make up and art but this time I wanted a separate make up table. Alongside this purchase I knew I wanted the Alex drawers from IKEA. SO today I'm going to show you my make up storage in these drawers and around my vanity area.

Today I want to share with you an jaw-dropping, dribbling, delicious brownie recipe. I LOVED baking in December, I found it really soothing and relaxing so I've decided that once a month I'm going to bake!

(This is going to be a LONG post... grab some biscuits and a cup of tea!)
I moved out of my parents house August 2014. I was 20 years old and I was nervous to move into a place by myself and have all that responsibility at a young age (not that I'm old now!). It was one of the best things I've ever done. I think it's SO important to be able to live by yourself and be happy in your own company, and not be relying on anyone else. Living alone forces you to be strong and independent. If you don't clean up the pots after dinner, no one else will. If you don't buy food, no one else will. If you don't clean the place, no one else will. I LOVE that because it means I can do whatever I want with the place because it's mine!

For this travel Tuesday post I wanted to reflect on one of my amazing trips in 2015. During the summer I went to Singapore with my family and holy-moly, it was fantastic. So in this post I'm going to sum up a few key things I'd recommend if you go to visit! I've picked my top 6.

I feel like all of my posts are going to be about how I'm keeping my new years resolutions for a while - I'm one of those people that really tries to stick to them! One of my resolutions was to get back into my skincare routine which is exactly what I've done...

I want to start a mini series on moving out! I moved out August 2014, which sounds like a long time ago but actually it's about a year and a half. I love living alone and I want to do a few posts on tips for moving out, ways to make your house feel like a home and this one which is DIY free home decor!

Today I wanted to write about the book that I'm reading in January! I'm only up to Chapter 3 so this isn't a proper book review but it's definitely one to put on your list!

Although I am super sick today I'm not going to let that stop me feeling super positive and excited for January! Today I'm going to be writing about my favourites from December. I love doing this at the start of every month because it lets me reflect and feel truly grateful for all the things I have!

Hi Friends :)
I hope you had an amazing New Years Eve, I certainly did! Now that we're starting the new year I want to get back into healthy eating! I always find I'm better at sticking to a healthy diet if I plan my meals. This may seem really silly to some people and if you can eat well without doing this then hats off to you! If I don't plan meals I'll end up just getting a takeaway and that's not good. I'll also end up buying far more food than I need. You'd think after a year of living alone I would have learnt by now? but I haven't! So here are 5 tips to become a professional meal planner...
